As far as I know we are the only Photrade group with the ‘one per day’ rule (there might be others but I'm not aware of them). This rule is driven by our group goals are: 1) quality not quantity, and 2) maximizing the exposure of member work. Consider the 2nd goal, someone opening up our group site will see 8 photos. If a single artist has decided to load 8 photos of their two-headed pet turkeycat then that pushes the other 7 artists off the page (I know you can hit ‘View More’ and get 24 shots but some might not take the time to do that). By using the ‘one per day’ rule you end up with 8 different artists displaying 8 different unique pieces right up front on the opening page. To me that is a much more compelling presentation of member work and helps maximize exposure time. If, by chance, someone posts more than one in a day the process will be to remove all but the first posted. – John Guild
