This competition is all about Portraits - submit your best portrait image for a chance to win one of three great prizes from Digital Photography School and it's partners.

Rules:

Only one entry per person.

Participants must be 18 years of age or over.

Please keep images to a 'family friendly' rating. While we are not offended by it we would ask that your entries contain no nudity please.

Participants must be the photographer of the image and have ownership of the copyright of it. Winners will be published on the Digital Photography School Blog so in entering you agree for the image to be republished in this way.

The theme of this competition is 'portraits'. We've kept this first competition to be fairly general in topic so as to be accessible to all. To be considered for a prize your photo needs to fit within this wide theme.

Participants can be from any country.

Judging - the winer will be selected from a combination of both user votes AND a judging panel from Digital Photography School's forum moderators. The bulk of this weighting will be on the judging panel but the public vote will count and could be a deciding factor so feel free to share news of this competition with your network and encourage them to vote for your image.

Winners will be announced early in November on the Digital Photography School Blog. Make sure you've subscribed to our RSS feed or newsletter to be informed of the winners.

First Prize - The winner of first place will win one of the following cameras (their choice):
